All About Iowa

Joshua was wearing Uncle Eddie's Iowa shirt when he decided to try corn on the cobb for the first time. It was meant to be!

Crew Cut

Joshua was in desperate need of a haircut, and while we had discussed going short, I was surprised to see Josua's new 'do when I woke up from a nap. Daddy did a great job!

On a Bench

Too bad his face is shaded. One day I'll understand how to do "fill flash".

New Book

Joshua loves his new book from Papa and Lala. At the end, the frogs jump out at you, and his face lit up! We are reading it at least three times a day right now.

Thanks Uncle Eddie!

Uncle Eddie and Aunt Judy came to visit us recently, and they brought a present for Joshua. Eddie tried to get a picture of him in his new Iowa t-shirt, but Joshua wasn't having it. I got him to model it a little later.

We're off to get the Wizard

As we were sitting around tonight, reading books, preparing for Joshua's bedtime, Steve was flipping channels and came upon the Wizard of Oz. Joshua first took notice as Dorothy sang "Somewhere over the Rainbow" and he waved to Toto sitting next to her.

But time stood still when the Munchkins appeared and the songs began.


We realized TCM wasn't cutting to commercial, so we had to make the break. Needless to say, it wasn't pretty. We told him it would be on tomorrow.....so I guess we'll be hitting the DVD section pretty soon!
