New Trike

Joshua tried out an awesome tricycle at the Schwinn store, so we decided to pull out the old school trike that had been under Joshua's crib for over a year. It's still a little big, but he loves it- and the bell!

Sick Day

Joshua was pretty sick last week. I could tell he was feeling better when he wanted to go outside, so I took the opportunity to take a few pics.

Milestones

-Just after Joshua's 2nd birthday we FINALLY got rid of the bottle. He only used it first thing in the morning and before bed, but it was time to go. He barely noticed too- I think Mommy and Daddy were more attached to it than he was.

-I have read that children under 2 should have limited TV time. That was never a problem since he had no interest in it at all. However, right around his birthday, it all changed. He loves his shows now. His favorites are Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (Hot Dog!), Little Einsteins (he calls it "Airplane Show"), and Thomas the Train ("choo choo" show) and the latest fave is Cars the movie ("truck show").

-Joshua moved up to the Twos classroom at school. He is big buddies with two "older boys"- about 8 months older- and I think being around them has helped increase his speaking abilities. He's saying all kind of words now. The most impressive is "Petroglyph" (Thanks Little Einsteins!)

Florida State Fair

We took Joshua to the fair for the first time this weekend. We wating until evening so he could look at the lights, and he loved seeing them. He loved his corndog (almost ate the whole thing) but didn't want to try the funnel cake. He won his very own prize by pulling ducks from the pond, and had his first caricature drawn. It was a fun night!

Cute

Joshua loves Accessories

Joshua has been really into hats, and wears one almost everyday. He even went to school wearing a Santa hat-in February. He spent most of the weekend wearing some of my junky necklaces- somewhat embarrassing out in public, but he would pitch a fit if we tried to take them off. Daddy's shoes completed a perfect outfit.
